Franchise Expos - Are they for you?
A franchise expo may well be the place many potential franchise owners begin their quest to find the right franchise for them and their family.
For franchisors with a large number of franchises still to be sold they are an excellent way to get your idea out in front of thousands of potential franchise owners.
As someone who may be looking to buy a franchise, do not expect to see many of the major franchisors chains. They have often very limited numbers of franchises still for sale, and will not see expo's as a cost effective way of targeting buyers for those limited opportunities.
In Australia there are 3 or 4 franchise expos which are run in most capital cities. All of these expos except Adelaide are endorsed by the Franchise Council of Australia, you will also find The Franchise Shop at most of these expos.
